Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to perform field tests and observations on projects, communicating with clients and team members. The role emphasizes safety, learning, and hands-on testing across indoor/outdoor environments.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Certifications are preferred but not mandatory, with opportunities for growth and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0–2 years related field experience.
• Certifications such as NRCA/IIBEC/AWCI are preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

• Test and observe on new construction and building science projects in field and lab.
• Perform field and laboratory testing and observations.
• Learn and progressively observe and document systems and tests.
• Communicate daily with ECS staff, managers, clients and site reps.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff or clients as requested.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; help maintain gear.
• Assist with office or lab tasks as needed.
