Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to perform routine field tests and observations for various project sites. The role emphasizes hands-on field work, client interaction, and strong attention to ECS core values.

Responsibilities include testing, documentation, equipment calibration, and collaboration with project teams across locations. A high school diploma and 0-2 years of related experience are required; some certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Certifications such as NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector and/or ICC certs preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is required if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field tests and observations on ECS projects.
• Conduct testing and observations for new construction, building enclosures, forensic investigations and related services.
• Communicate daily with ECS technicians, project managers, principals, clients and site reps.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff and clients as requested.
• Document test results and observations in reports.

Education

Associate or technical degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering or a related field
