Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) seeks Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to perform field tests and observations on various projects. You will work in the field, communicate with project teams, and help document findings in reports.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 0–2 years’ related experience. An associate/technical degree and certifications like NRCA or ICC are a plus; a valid state driver’s license is required. Lifting and heights are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Certifications preferred: NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI EIFS Inspector and/or ICC.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS.
• Must lift 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Testing and observations for building science and infrastructure projects.
• Perform field and laboratory testing and observations.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; maintain and organize gear.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Communicate with ECS staff, clients, and site reps; attend project meetings.
