Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is hiring Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to perform routine field tests and observations on construction sites. The role emphasizes a positive customer service attitude and adherence to ECS Core Values while working in diverse weather and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities include field testing, report documentation, and daily coordination with ECS project teams. A valid driver’s license is required if driving for ECS, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Certifications are preferred but not required (NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI EIFS Inspector, ICC).
• Valid driver’s license required if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs multiple times daily and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field tests and observations on construction sites.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Communicate with ECS team, project managers, and clients daily.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff or clients as needed.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; assist with maintenance of equipment.

Associate or technical degree in civil/architectural engineering or related field
