UES, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Building Inspector I to perform on-site inspections, verify code compliance, and uphold safety and quality across diverse projects. You will work with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure regulatory adherence.

This role provides hands-on experience with building codes, plan reviews, and safety standards, plus opportunities for professional growth within UES. Travel to varied sites and flexible schedules are expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; active Building Inspector License required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans; ongoing learning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; field data collection software experience helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and job site regulations (OSHA, client standards).
• Perform Structural Building Inspection duties (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) as licensed.
• Document and report inspection findings with observations, diagrams, photos, and recommendations.
• Identify code violations and provide corrective action guidance to contractors and teams.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions and final compliance.
• Review plans, permits, and reports to verify design compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with field supervisors and project teams; provide status updates.
• Assist in reviewing permit applications and project documentation for completeness.
• Stay updated on building codes and safety regulations; participate in training and certifications.
• Travel to project sites, often across varying terrains, to conduct inspections.
