Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Building Inspector License.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to job sites.
• ICC or equivalent certifications preferred or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze blueprints, specs, and reports.
• Proficient with MS Office and field data collection tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and site regulations, including PPE.
• Perform Structural Building Inspection duties (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) as licensed.
• Document findings with observations, diagrams, photos, and recommendations.
• Identify code violations and provide corrective actions and guidance.
• Conduct follow‑up inspections to verify corrective actions.
• Review plans, permits, and reports to verify compliance with designs and codes.
• Maintain clear communication with field teams and project managers.
• Review permit applications and project documentation for accuracy.
• Stay updated with codes and safety regulations; participate in ongoing training.
• Travel to project sites as required for inspections and assessments.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle for fieldwork.
• Work flexible shifts including weekends/evenings as needed.
• Perform other duties to support project goals.
