Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Building Inspector I and Plan Reviewer to perform on-site structural inspections and plan reviews to verify code compliance and safe construction practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Building Inspector license required.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications (ICC or equivalent) within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on site (OSHA, PPE).
• Perform licensed Structural Building Inspection duties (BN Structural).
• Document inspection findings with observations, diagrams, photos, and recommendations.
• Identify code violations and provide corrective action guidance to contractors and teams.
• Conduct plan reviews and coordinate plan review distribution for the department.
• Travel to project sites and maintain clear communication with field teams.
