Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Building Engineer for a field-based role in the United States. You will remotely resolve security product issues, diagnose building automation software and networking problems, and support field technicians on installations and commissioning.

You will interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance, read blueprints, maintain records, and provide emergency and warranty service as needed.

Qualifications

• Local 134 and BFS License are relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Remotely resolve security product issues for SE field Technicians and customers.
• Interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance departments.
• Diagnose and resolve software and networking issues for installed Building Automation systems.
• Work with field service technicians to troubleshoot and repair installed field equipment.
• Maintain test records and site configuration information.
• Provide emergency and warranty service as required.
• Assist in commissioning and startup of new Building Automation systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and sketches of security systems.
• Completed documentation of work accomplishment for work order systems and time control activities.
