Schneider Electric in Dallas is seeking a Project Engineer focused on Building Automation Systems (BAS) to coordinate design, commissioning and field activities. You will work with project managers and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and system performance.

This role emphasizes communication with customers, safety, and hands-on troubleshooting of hardware and software, including commissioning and remote connectivity setup.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication with customers and trades.
• Experience with HVAC and security installations.
• Proficiency in building systems and applying Schneider Electric technology.
• Proven experience coordinating project teams on site with contractors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design activities align with conformed documents prior to installation.
• Modify and update design drawings; maintain red-line documents.
• Coordinate with project manager and procurement on purchasing and budget risks.
• Ensure materials are delivered to site or subcontractors for installation.
• Validate hardware and installation meet design requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on site.
• Participate in field quality control and safety audits; review results.
