Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Sales & Service Technician II to perform field installations and repairs for residential and business broadband. This role involves installing networking gear, reading service orders, and ensuring service quality at customer sites, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

The position requires lifting, climbing, and outdoor work, with a focus on timely problem resolution and collaboration with team members to promote Frontier products and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance.
• Basic keyboard and software skills.
• Pole climbing certification required; weight limit 275 lbs.
• Must complete company training and demonstrate ability to complete full installs.
• Ability to work independently and with customers.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain inside wire for residential/business broadband service.
• Install networking equipment including Fiber to the Home, ONT, and routers.
• Read service orders and trouble tickets; perform maintenance on cables and equipment.
• Assist other departments and contractors; mentor coworkers.
• Adapt to technology changes and new procedures.
