Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Sales & Service Technician II (Field Install & Repair) to install, maintain, and repair network facilities from the station to the line card at 10557 APPLEWOOD RD, SISTER BAY, WI 54234. The role involves hands-on field work, climbing, and customer-focused service delivery.

Key duties include installing broadband equipment, fiber-related hardware, and gateways, with travel and frequent driving; prior telecom installation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance preferred.
• Basic keyboard and software skills required.
• Pole climbing certification required; weight limit 275 lbs.
• Must complete company-provided training and demonstrate ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain inside wire for residential/business broadband (HSI/Video) service.
• Install networking equipment including Fiber to the Home, ONT, Wireless routers, Modems, Gateways.
• Read service orders, trouble tickets, outside plant drawings and diagrams.
• Perform maintenance on buried, aerial and underground cable/fiber.
• Assist other departments and contractors; travel to job sites as needed.
