Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a Branch Sales Manager for the Bakersfield area. You’ll lead a local team in building value and relationships with diverse industrial B2B customers, with much time spent in the field calling on and developing clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year sales management and leadership experience.
• 2+ years B2B outside sales experience with a tangible product.
• Industrial distribution experience is a plus.
• Operations and/or P&L experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain P&L responsibility as Branch Sales Manager.
• Lead a local team; build relationships with new and existing B2B customers.
• Develop team to meet sales and profit goals and foster a productive environment.
• Hire, train, and develop strong performing team members.
• Develop and implement service center sales activities, territory management and margins.
• Identify new customers and evaluate market conditions and opportunities.
• Maximize sales and expand market share.
• Manage personal assigned accounts as required.
