Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair non-imaging diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices using standard electronic test equipment.
• Assist with installation, calibration, and testing of new medical electronic devices and systems; escalate complex issues.
• Provide operational and technical advice to medical and clinical staff; interact regularly to ensure needs are met.
• Mentor Biomedical students (interns) as a technical resource.
• Order repair services and spare parts per procedures and contracts.
• Document inspections, repairs, and service actions; coordinate with vendors and manufacturers.
