Shearwater Aerospace Inc. is seeking a hands-on field-based business development professional to bridge Smart Flight™ with defense UAV operators. You will build field access, run field engagements, and feed ground truth into the product in a high-travel, on-site role.

You will travel 30–50% across the US and Canada, engaging operators, documenting workflows, and driving conversations that shape product direction. This role reports to the CEO and collaborates with the CTO.

Qualificações

• Credibility with UAS operators and knowledge of defense UAV workflows.
• Existing network in the US defense UAS community to start week one.
• Day-one fluency with industry acronyms, culture and call targets.
• Demonstrated self-directed outreach and ability to build a contact list from scratch.

Responsabilidades

• Build market map and field access end-to-end targeting defense operators and contractors.
• Lead field engagement: discovery conversations, operator evaluations, and field trials.
• Represent Shearwater at defense UAS events, ranges, and exercises.
• Write concise after-action reports capturing operator feedback in own words.
