Whataburger in Austin, TX is seeking a Restaurant Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurants safe and reliable by diagnosing issues and repairing HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen systems. You will manage repairs from curb to curb and coordinate with leadership across sites.

This field-based role requires full-time availability, on-call rotation, and travel within the region. The position offers competitive pay, a company vehicle, 5 weeks PTO, holidays, and growth opportunities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• EPA or CFC Certification required.
• Ability to travel locally and long distances as needed.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment systems.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, and beverage systems.
• Respond to service calls and restore equipment and facility functionality.
• Manage work orders, documentation, and parts inventory.
• Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area.
