Job summary

Rocky Mountain Laboratories is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead up to 14 Account Managers and Customer Success Managers across Utah, Colorado, Idaho, and Nevada. The role reports to the CEO and drives revenue for molecular diagnostics, core lab, and toxicology services.

The position is field-based with Salt Lake City area preferred; CO/ID/NV candidates considered. Expect ~50% travel during ramp-up, then about one week per month.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales or field sales experience.
• 3+ years directly managing a sales team, including hiring and coaching.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience managing remote reps across a large territory.
• Strong CRM skills and pipeline forecasting experience.
• Confident presenting to physicians and facility leaders.
• Travel about 50% during ramp-up, then ~1 week per month.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop your team to hit sales targets and grow market share.
• Recruit, hire, and train sales team members, and oversee onboarding and mentoring for new reps.
• Build and execute regional sales strategies and territory plans.
• Set monthly goals by rep, territory, and account type; run monthly team meetings and 1:1s.
• Join prospecting visits and account reviews to drive opportunities.
• Own relationships with the region's largest accounts; report performance to leadership.
