Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is recruiting for a Protective Services Caseworker in Pennsylvania. This full-time, field-based position involves traveling across Westmoreland County and surrounding areas to detect, prevent, and address abuse or neglect of adults with disabilities.

You will interview individuals, gather information, document findings, and develop service plans, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice or a human service field preferred but not required with relevant experience.
• Ability to travel regionally and conduct field investigations.
• Ability to navigate emotionally challenging situations with compassion and resilience.
• Must have own insured vehicle for regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout Westmoreland County and surrounding counties.
• Conduct investigations in residences.
• Interview individuals and gather information.
• Identify, mitigate, and eliminate risks to the individual.
• Document findings and write reports.
• Develop service plans, coordinate services, and manage cases to closure.
• Field-based role with autonomy and occasional evenings.
