Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Protective Services Caseworker for a full-time, field-based role across southwestern Pennsylvania. The position offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and potential overtime.

You will travel to residences, conduct investigations, interview individuals, identify risks, and develop service plans to close cases, with a strong emphasis on compassionate support. Qualified candidates may have a relevant degree or equivalent experience in human services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if you have related experience.
• Experience in Service Coordination, Supports Coordination, Program Specialist, or Case Manager roles.
• Experience in Child, Family and Youth Services or Older Adult Protective Services or Behavioral/mental health services.
• Ability to navigate emotionally challenging situations with compassion and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania.
• Conduct investigations in residences.
• Interview individuals and gather information.
• Identify, mitigate, and eliminate areas of risk to the individual.
• Document findings and write reports.
• Develop service plans, coordinate services, and manage cases to closure.
