Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking an Early career and experienced human services professional for a full-time Protective Services Caseworker position in the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program.

You will actively contribute to detecting, preventing, reducing and eliminating abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults with disabilities, through field investigations, interviews and coordinated service plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice or a human service field is preferred.
• Experience in service coordination roles is relevant.
• Ability to navigate emotionally challenging situations with compassion and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Traveling throughout Erie County and surrounding counties.
• Conducting investigations in residences.
• Interviewing individuals and gathering information.
• Identifying, mitigating, and eliminating areas of risk to the individual.
• Documenting findings and writing reports.
• Developing service plans, coordinating services, and managing cases to closure.
