Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Protective Services Caseworker for the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program. The role involves investigating abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults with disabilities, with a focus on risk reduction and service coordination.

You will travel regionally, conduct home investigations, interview individuals, document findings, and develop care plans.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice or a human service field is preferred but not required if you have experience in one of these areas.

Responsibilities

• Traveling throughout Harrisburg, Dauphin County, and surrounding counties.
• Conducting investigations in residences.
• Interviewing individuals and gathering information.
• Identifying, mitigating, and eliminating areas of risk to the individual.
• Documenting findings and writing reports.
• Developing service plans, coordinating services, and managing cases to closure.
