Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Corporation seeks a Protective Services Caseworker to support the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program. The role focuses on detecting and addressing abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment of adults living with disabilities.

You will travel regionally, conduct investigations, interview individuals, and develop service plans while documenting findings. This is a field-based position with autonomy and occasional evening hours, offering solid benefits and training.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice or a human service field is preferred but not required if you have experience in one of these areas.
• Must be able to navigate emotionally challenging situations while exercising compassion and resilience.
• Must have your own insured vehicle due to travel across the region.
• Field-based role with a high degree of autonomy and occasional evening work.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the region with focus on Fayette, Washington and Greene Counties.
• Conduct investigations in residences.
• Interview individuals and gather information.
• Identify, mitigate, and eliminate areas of risk to the individual.
• Document findings and write reports.
• Develop service plans, coordinate services, and manage cases to closure.
