Job summary

Cleveland Public Adjusters seeks an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business by identifying and securing clients who need public adjusting services in property claims. This role combines consultative sales with knowledge of insurance claim processes to build trust with policyholders and convert leads into signed representation agreements.

The candidate will travel to residential and commercial loss sites, qualify leads, and maintain CRM records while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in sales, property insurance claims, construction, restoration, or related client-facing field.
Able to pass a background check and drug screen, plus licensing requirements where applicable.
Physically able to navigate loss sites and travel up to 75% of the time within Ohio and surrounding states.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inbound leads and assess client needs, presenting the company’s services.
Prospect and generate new client leads through cold calling, networking and relationships.
Travel to loss sites to assess severity and determine suitability for representation.
Explain claims process and how public adjusting services maximize recovery for clients.
Educate owners on representation scope and fee arrangements to secure contracts.
