Job summary

Adaptive Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver skilled PTA visits in patients' homes across Texas. This full-time, field-based role operates under the supervising PT's plan of care and focuses on functional mobility, home safety, and gait/balance training.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and travel across the assigned territory. You will document promptly in Homecare Homebase (HCHB), coordinate with the care team, and contribute to the mission

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (in good standing).
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in the field under PT supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled PTA visits in the home under the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Execute treatment plans focusing on gait/balance, transfers, strengthening, and home safety.
• Set/track progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Drive multidisciplinary coordination and keep the care team aligned.
