Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to educate patients and caregivers about disease state, access to therapy, and reimbursement options. This field-based role builds relationships, assesses patient needs, and coordinates education on insurance coverage and administration.

The PAL collaborates with cross-functional teams and adheres to HIPAA and FDA guidelines while traveling up to 50% to meet patients and care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in direct patient support.
• 5+ years clinical experience in pediatrics or related fields.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for education on disease state, products, and access/reimbursement concepts.
• Build and maintain relationships via in-person and virtual interactions.
• Assess patient needs and develop an action plan using approved resources.
• Provide education on insurance coverage and administration of therapy.
• Travel up to 50% including overnight and some weekend travel.
