Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a field-based Patient Access Liaison to educate patients and caregivers on disease state, products, and therapy access. You will build relationships through in-person and virtual visits and tailor action plans with approved resources.

The role requires strong communication, autonomy, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Patient Advocacy, while ensuring HIPAA and FDA compliance. Travel up to 50% is expected, including weekends and patient homes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in direct patient support.
• Preferred: clinical/allied health degree or licensure; 5+ years pediatrics/related.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA requirements, and OIG guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patient/caregiver education on disease state and therapy access.
• Build and maintain relationships via in-person and virtual visits.
• Assess patient needs to create action plans using approved resources.
• Educate on insurance coverage and obtaining therapy; provide administration education.
• Share affordability resources and manage long-term patient care plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; partner with Patient Advocacy and attend symposia.
• Report AEs and product complaints to PV/Compliance; ensure regulatory adherence.
