Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive for the Los Angeles Central, CA area. The role is field-based, focusing on Multiple Myeloma with hematology/oncology customers.

You will build strategic territory plans, establish strong clinician partnerships, and drive brand objectives through compliant, evidence-driven engagements. Candidates should have 5+ years pharma/biotech sales experience, oncology/hematology expertise, and a track record of collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
• Oncology/hematology experience required, preferably in Multiple Myeloma.
• Desire and ability to take on larger roles faster than their peers.
• Competitive selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative, team environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Persistency and grit with strong track record of succeeding in a challenging environment.
• Driving a personal auto or company car or truck.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
• Regular business travel by air or car is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and insights to optimize execution.
• Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction.
• Complete AbbVie required training and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Meet HCIR credentialing requirements for access to facilities in the territory.
