U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory, take applications, and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews for approval.

Incumbents are expected to spend at least 50% of their time away from U.S. Bank locations, with strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA guidelines and related laws.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration and compliance with SECURE/S.A.F.E. Act requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory and take applications.
• Conduct preliminary underwriting reviews and route to processing/underwriting for approval.
• Travel to meet clients; spend at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations.
