Mahr Inc. seeks a District Sales Manager for the Southeast region, based in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on expanding market share in NC and VA with heavy travel.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Metrology Equipment and a proven outside sales track record, enabling effective account development and customer partnerships. Responsibilities include territory planning, engaging customers, supporting distribution channels, and staying current with product developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of outside sales experience in dimensional metrology or related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the district.

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned district, identify current key accounts while cultivating new customers within NC and VA.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers, understand needs, and offer tailored solutions with up to 80% travel.
• Channel Partners: Support and educate the distribution network with technical assistance, quotes, product updates, demonstrations, and promotions.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to position metrology equipment in the market.
