Job summary

Mahr Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager, MarSurf3D, for an outside technical sales role based in the Detroit metropolitan area. The district covers the Midwest and Central US with travel up to 80%.

The responsible candidate will advance MarSurf3D sales by developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and applying a consultative sales process. Ideal candidates have a proven track record in non-contact surface metrology sales, deep knowledge of 3D optical measurement and surface

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of outside sales in dimensional metrology or related industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and lead channel partners.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Territory management and sales plan execution for the Midwest and Central US.
• Develop new business and manage key accounts within assigned district.
• Support and educate distribution partners with technical assistance and updates.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM with opportunities, events and tasks.
• Collaborate with marketing, support and product teams to align goals.
• Position Mahr metrology equipment to automotive, aerospace, medical devices, etc.
