Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patients' homes, clinics, or care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safety, comfort and independence during equipment use.

The role focuses on field-based service with daily patient visits, requiring a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year or more in healthcare technician or delivery roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and HME equipment at patient homes or care settings.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and care of equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues, including emergencies when required.
• Maintain and service home oxygen systems during scheduled visits.
• Complete documentation accurately to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Operate company vehicle safely and comply with HIPAA and PPE guidelines.
