Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and other care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety, and maintain equipment while complying with HIPAA and company policies.

The role requires a high school diploma, customer service or healthcare experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment in customer homes.
• Document orders accurately to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Operate company vehicle safely and comply with policies.
