Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes seeks a Land Trainer to elevate capabilities across Land Acquisition, Entitlement, and Development. You will translate real-world experiences into impactful learning, coaching, and development solutions, traveling up to 25% to support division and project-based initiatives.

The role partners with Land leaders and SME’s to ensure current practices and standards are reflected in learning content and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Land Acquisition, Entitlement, or Development.
• Ability to translate complex land concepts into practical learning.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting development of others.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support training and field engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary subject matter contributor in at least one land discipline while building cross-functional knowledge.
• Partner with Land leaders to identify capability needs and training priorities.
• Lead onboarding programs to accelerate readiness for new Land team members.
• Coordinate and manage training operations from registration to completion.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences in classroom, virtual, and field settings.
