Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes is seeking a Field Construction Trainer to design and deliver field‑focused training for our residential teams. You will ensure processes, safety standards, and customer experience requirements are applied consistently across regions, with remote management and up to 30-40% travel.

You will facilitate sessions, coach on active jobsites, maintain LMS records, and partner with L&D and leaders to continuously improve training programs and materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in residential construction, homebuilding, or field operations.
• Experience training, coaching, or leading others in construction settings.
• Ability to travel up to 30-40% to support field training and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, field-focused learning sessions for new hires and incumbents.
• Deliver training that supports field readiness, quality standards, safety, and customer experience.
• Coach on active jobsites, reinforce training concepts, and drive implementation.
• Maintain LMS records, attendance, assessments, and learner progress.
• Collaborate with L&D, division leaders, and subject matter experts to improve programs.
