Job summary

ERM is seeking Land Agents to support pipeline and electric transmission projects across Indiana, Iowa, and Illinois. This full-time field-based role involves negotiating land rights, preparing rights of entry and leases, and coordinating with landowners.

The position requires real estate knowledge, a high school diploma, and the ability to work remotely in diverse environments. Applicants should have 3–5 years ROW experience, energy sector familiarity, and proficiency with MS Office, Google

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
3–5 years of ROW experience.
Oil & Gas or diversified energy experience preferred.
Notary license preferred.
Real estate license preferred.
Strong PC skills: MS Office, Google Earth, ArcGIS, and data management software.
Ability to work in remote locations for long periods.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with landowners or designees.
Settle complex damage claims related to construction.
Search records to determine property ownership and interest.
Advise and help establish fair market values for land acquisitions.
Prepare documents for rights of entry, licenses, leases, permits, and related agreements.
Comply with health and safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
