Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Land Development Superintendent to lead site development for new home construction. In this role you will oversee offsite tasks (grading, utilities, landscaping) and supervise trade management with field inspections and schedule adherence.

You will spend 80% of time in the field and 20% in the office, coordinating with subcontractors, officials, and consultants to ensure on-time project delivery and bond processes where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or construction-related field is preferred.
• Experience in land development construction management with grading utilities and paving.
• Proficiency in project scheduling and budgeting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee schedules for multiple land development projects across sites.
• Lead contract and scope briefing meetings with stakeholders.
• Organize pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and agencies.
• Coordinate with officials, inspectors, and consultants for site tasks.
• Monitor work for schedule adherence and quality, provide updates.
• Participate in municipal inspections and bond exoneration processes.
