Job summary

KB Home is seeking a field-based Construction Support/Coordinator to help build high-quality residential homes under supervision. You will oversee the full construction process from groundbreaking to walkthrough, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction at every step.

The ideal candidate brings 1–2 years in homebuilding or related construction training, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in homebuilding or related real estate industry.
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and achieve results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing trade partners to build high-quality homes.
• Oversee all construction phases, ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.
• Provide daily updates and compile milestone reports.
• Coordinate and monitor trade partners throughout the construction process.
• Approve invoices, ensure timely completion, and maintain cleanliness.
• Strive for high customer satisfaction and resolve concerns.
• Conduct orientations and ensure smooth transition for new homeowners.
• Work with the sales team and participate in Community Teams.
• Maintain a safe work site and perform inspections.
• Ensure trade partners follow Scope of Work and manage permits/inspections.
• Collaborate with inspectors throughout the homebuilding process.
