Job summary

InVision Human Services seeks a Learning & Development Compliance Trainer to coach staff in statewide residential locations, reinforce certifications, and document progress. The role spends substantial time in the field, visiting sites to provide coaching, observation, and follow-up training that turns classroom learning into practical everyday practice.

Qualifications

• bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years progressive relevant experience in training, coaching, learning and development.
• Experience in residential services, direct support, healthcare, medication administration, and competency-based training preferred.
• Travel regularly to residential sites and manage schedules across locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to residential sites to support employees where the work happens and provide practical coaching.
• Support sustainment of certifications and skills, including medication administration and practicum observation.
• Serve as observer, coach, or evaluator for designated training activities and documentation.
• Identify training gaps during site visits and share trends with L&D and leadership.
• Provide refreshers and follow-up coaching to reinforce skills in real settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of observations, competencies, and training activities.
• Plan travel routes and visit schedules to meet business needs across multiple locations.
