Job summary

Lifesteps is hiring a Training Coordinator in Butler, PA to coordinate staff trainings for the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Department. The role requires delivering in-person training sessions and ensuring regulatory compliance while identifying development needs for direct care staff.

The position is full-time, typically 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional travel in Western PA. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Require high school diploma and 5 years of experience in HR, Training, or management, or an associate degree in HR, psychology, special education, or counseling.
• Must have strong presentation skills and be able to train staff in person.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and solid written/verbal communication.
• Ability to travel within Western PA for business as needed.
• Must maintain compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee trainings for the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Department.
• Identify staff training needs and help create training curricula.
• Deliver in-person training sessions as the main presenter/instructor.
• Monitor compliance and support staff development initiatives.
