Job summary

Life’s At Home Care is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to build referral relationships and generate new client admissions. This field-based role involves visiting referral partners, developing relationships, and representing Life’s At Home Care in the community with regular local travel.

You will proactively identify and visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and healthcare practices, while maintaining follow-up with partners to drive

Qualifications

• Outside sales or business development experience with success in generating new business.
• Strong sales performance; healthcare/home care experience not required.
• Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.
• Professional, compassionate, self-motivated, and comfortable contacting new referral sources.
• Ability to organize a territory, work independently, and be accountable for sales results.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and visit new referral sources, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and healthcare practices.
• Maintain consistent in-person outreach and follow-up with existing referral partners to generate qualified referrals.
• Schedule presentations, attend networking events, and educate referral partners and families about our home care services.
• Follow up with prospective clients and families, explain service options, and convert inquiries and referrals into new client admissions.
• Plan and manage your territory independently, including prospecting, appointment scheduling, and follow-up.
• Meet established goals for referral partner visits, qualified referrals, new client admissions, and billable-hour growth.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, referral relationships, and sales pipeline progress.
• Coordinate with the operations team to support a smooth handoff and timely start of care.
