Job summary

IQ Fiber is seeking a Community Development Manager to lead ROE acquisition and plan a 3-year pipeline of MDUs in targeted markets. You will collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Direct Sales to execute go-to-market plans and expand market share with our fiber solutions.

The role is field-facing and requires strong negotiation, data-driven decision making, and the ability to build relationships with property owners and developers. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of telecom sales or community development experience; MDU-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with MDU property owners and decision-makers.
• Proficient in data analysis and business reporting to support recommendations.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience navigating business, legal, and engineering considerations.

Responsibilities

• Secure ROEs and build a 3-year pipeline for planned communities.
• Execute tactics to capture market share and grow revenues across MDU properties.
• Engage with property owners and developers to validate needs and opportunities.
• Manage contracts from sale to construction and retention with clear communication.
• Monitor market conditions to identify opportunities, risks, and issues.
• Plan and execute new community initiatives aligning with brand and sales targets.
• Partner with Marketing, PM, Engineering, Direct Sales, and Operations.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance expectations.
• All other duties as assigned.
