Job summary

IQ Fiber is seeking an experienced MDU Coordinator to own the full project lifecycle for multi-dwelling unit deployments, from initial design through network delivery, working with the sales team to present solutions and secure ROE.

This hands-on field role requires strong OSP and MDU knowledge, the ability to explain complex designs to non-technical audiences, and the drive to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deployment targets while managing contractors and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of telecommunications construction experience; 5+ years in OSP engineering and MDU solutions preferred.
• Experience with walk-out surveys, design, budgeting, and BOMs including XGSPON; managing contractor relationships and multi-site construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; learn new applications and systems, including Vetro.

Responsibilities

• Own MDU construction projects from start to finish, coordinating scheduling with property management and unit access.
• Deliver certified networks to end users on time and within budget; document as-builts into Vetro and upload optical levels to SharePoint.
• Partner with sales to identify customer needs and develop technical solutions; support site visits, negotiations, and presentations.
• Present technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences; translate complex designs into understandable proposals.
• Support design and execution of planned community initiatives; ensure customer experience and budget requirements are met.
• Monitor market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks; target homes-passed monthly, quarterly, yearly.
• Manage contractor relationships and oversee construction quality; ensure workmanship meets company standards.
• Maintain assigned vehicle; represent IQ Fiber in field attire.
