Job summary

Cenergistic in Lexington, KY is seeking an Energy Specialist to help clients reduce energy costs and improve building performance. You will build trusted relationships, conduct site visits, monitor energy performance, and recommend practical cost-saving initiatives across facilities.

No prior energy-management experience is required—we provide training. The role is field‑based with travel within an assigned territory and occasional early or weekend hours to observe operations and support client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with assigned client contacts.
• Conduct routine site visits to evaluate facility operations.
• Monitor energy performance using company tools.
• Analyze trends and recommend cost-saving solutions.
• Partner with facility teams to implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Document observations and recommendations accurately.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure success.
• Represent Cenergistic professionally with clients.
