Job summary

Legacy Commercial Property is seeking a District Manager, Property Management & Leasing to oversee 55+ retail properties across IL, MO, KS, and OK. The role emphasizes asset preservation, tenant relations, and revenue growth through selective leasing and proactive operations.

The position reports to the Regional VP, requires strong leadership, budget discipline, and hands-on site management across a multi-state portfolio. Occasional travel and a focus on operational excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of commercial property management experience required.
• Experience managing retail or mixed-use properties preferred.
• Leasing or sales experience a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial lease terms and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants and understand their business and operational needs.
• Coordinate repairs, general maintenance, and capital improvements for each property.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and bid processes for services and upgrades.
• Oversee required inspections and tests on an annual basis.
• Monitor property operating budgets and recommend capital expenditures.
• Serve as tenant liaison and manage lease administration and renewals.
• Support leasing opportunities, conduct property tours, and coordinate TI with contractors.
