Job summary

Legacy Commercial Property is seeking an experienced Owner's Representative to manage a portfolio of approximately 55 retail properties across Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. This field-based role requires 50–70% overnight travel, with home-office work on non-travel days.

You will build tenant relationships, oversee maintenance and capital improvements, manage vendor bids, and participate in leasing opportunities with the Regional VP to maximize property income and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and commercial property management experience required.
• Experience leasing or selling retail or office space is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lease terms and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with tenants and understand business needs.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and capital improvements for each property.
• Manage vendor relationships, bidding, and annual inspections.
• Oversee lease administration, rent collection, and landlord rights.
• Support tenant buildouts and coordinate with contractors and permits.
• Provide post-occupancy support and monitor property performance metrics.
• Prepare property condition reports and manage operating budgets.
