Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Specialty Diagnostics Group seeks Clinical Sales Specialists to drive revenue growth across the United States. In this field-based role you will build relationships with healthcare professionals, understand clinical workflows, and connect customers with diagnostic solutions and services.

You will manage territory plans, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in diagnostics or life sciences.
• Experience developing new business and managing customer relationships.
• Experience managing a territory, account portfolio, sales pipeline and forecast.
• Able to work in cross-functional or matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to meet sales, revenue and growth targets.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities within assigned segments and markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Apply consultative selling to understand needs, workflows and priorities.
• Communicate the value of diagnostic products and services to customers.
• Drive adoption and utilization of solutions within targeted accounts.
• Manage opportunities through the sales cycle including proposals and negotiations.
