Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a DBS Associate Therapy Consultant for the Lehigh Valley/Central area. This field-based role supports the sales team, cultivates customer relationships, and develops clinical acumen to assist neurosurgical and neurology patients.

Travel up to 40% within the United States is expected. The role requires 1–2 years’ experience in sales or clinical settings, with a preference for experience in neurology or movement disorders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ work experience in a sales and/or clinical role.
• Background in neurology, movement disorders, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support existing Sales team to drive sales revenue to achieve territory objectives.
• Cultivate a customer base, prospect for new customers, follow up leads, and position products against competitors.
• Develop clinical acumen to support Neurosurgical cases and Neurology patient appointments.
• Build relationships with neurosurgeons, movement disorder clinicians, technicians, nurses and patients.
• Demonstrate high performance and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor technology strengths and strategies to inform strategy.
• Understand hospital buying processes for implantable devices; coordinate with sales leadership, Health Education & Reimbursement to achieve on-contract status.
• Support neurosurgery and Neurology meetings and training events.
