Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Clinical Specialist for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy. This field-based role requires residence within the US territory and travel to multiple accounts, including surgeries and follow-up support.

You will educate physicians and hospital staff on device use, coordinate training programs, and assist with documentation and invoicing after cases. Strong clinical sales experience in neurology or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of clinical or medical sales experience, or an Associate/Bachelor's with relevant sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a health care related field preferred.
• RN or HCP with sterile environment experience.
• Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care.
• Experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company is beneficial.
• Understand reimbursement and healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Represents Medtronic DBS during surgeries and implants with required equipment and products.
• Maintains current knowledge about assigned products and services and competitors.
• Educates and trains physicians, hospital staff, and caregivers on device use.
• Coordinate one-on-one sessions, in-service programs, seminars and outside symposia.
• Provide sales support and complete documentation post-procedures.
• Communicate effectively with district personnel and customers.
