Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Engagement Manager to manage accounts in the West Baltimore region and drive growth through Ryder services. You will be on the road most days, building relationships with decision-makers and aligning service offerings with customer goals.

Enhance wallet share and deliver contractual services while collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and ongoing account development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or transportation.
• 2+ years experience providing service to customers.
• 2+ years experience selling to customers.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales quotas and profit targets.
• Maintain regular in-person and virtual contact with customers to meet requirements.
• Develop a sales penetration plan to expand Ryder's wallet share.
• Segment account base by opportunity for growth, renewal, and risk of loss.
• Present Ryder services and capabilities; develop relationships with all customer buying influencers.
• Develop an understanding of customers' business, goals, and objectives.
• Collaborate with DTS/SCS to develop upsell opportunities for services.
• Serve as facilitator between customers and Ryder departments or vendors.
• Ensure contracted services are delivered; build productive relationships with customers.
• Maintain customer contact; monitor customer satisfaction perception.
• Conduct scheduled customer reviews and monitor VOC results by account.
• Develop knowledge of competitors and share of wallet opportunities.
• Contribute to smooth transition of accounts sold upstream in Ryder's portfolio.
• Update CRM with account-specific details and interactions.
