Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to drive promotion of AUVELITY for adult MDD and future CNS indications.

This field-based role requires access to clinics and hospitals, with engagement through digital channels as needed, to optimize patient access and therapy adoption across assigned geographies. You will develop territory plans, build strong clinician relationships, and navigate payer processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quarterly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management.
• Minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS.
• 5 years of consistent top performance in pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
• Psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements
• Develop territory business plans to achieve quarterly & annual goals
• Promote within approved labeling following guidelines
• Develop strong customer relationships by understanding needs
• Serve as resource on payer policies and processes
• Maximize use of marketing resources to grow prescribers
• Communicate territory activity to management
• Provide feedback to sales, marketing and other departments
• Complete training classes timely
• Complete administrative duties accurately
• Manage efforts within assigned promotional budget
• Collaborate across all corporate functions
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings
• Ensure timely access for patients via services and savings programs
• Overnight travel as needed
