Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) seeks a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to serve families across Sierra Vista, Benson, and Douglas. You will respond to allegations, conduct interviews, assess safety, and coordinate services to safeguard children in the community.

The role is full-time, on-site, with comprehensive training and structured pay scales that increase with experience. A driving requirement and state compliance steps are part of the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree earned from an accredited institution or 4 years as an Arizona DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record review may apply.
• Complete 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety in homes and community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans with families.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases within assigned region and collaborate with courts and agencies.
